為「小秀才學堂」 呂秀蓮向南鯤鯓代天府申請經費

前副總統呂秀蓮卸任後為自己創辦的「小秀才學堂」經費四處奔波，25日中午前往南縣「台灣王爺總廟」南鯤鯓代天府參拜時，順便提出計畫申請書要求廟方贊助經費，廟方表示將提委員會討論。
呂秀蓮25日下午1時30分抵達南鯤鯓代天府時，副主任委員王連興、常務監查委員吳朱福、管理委員黃淇荃、監查委員楊耀乾及總幹事侯賢遜等人熱烈歡迎，她除了向五府千歲上香祈福外，還在貴賓室舉行座談會。
呂秀蓮是台灣心會創辦人，她所發起的「小秀才學堂」，2006年起在全國各地開辦400多班，免費提供家境清寒學生課後輔導，幫助相當多弱勢學童，成效不錯。
可能是因為經費不足的關係，呂秀蓮25日特別向「台灣王爺總廟」南鯤鯓代天府呈上贊助「小秀才學堂」經費申請書；不過，廟方人員表示，呂秀蓮創立的「小秀才學堂」舉動不錯，至於經費問題必須交給委員會討論。
呂秀蓮在下午2時30分許離開，廟方管理委員會及許多信徒對於卸任後的呂秀蓮還為「小秀才學堂」關切，表示贊許。
