Billy the cat watches dispairingly as a seagull eats his food. See SWNS story SWGULL; A timid cat has been left feline a little peckish after having his food robbed daily – by a SEAGULL. The elderly moggie – named Billy – has to sit and watch as the large bird gulps down portions of his dinner. Owner Peter Turner, 62, says the food is targeted each day by the same bird, who swoops down for breakfast lunch and dinner. Peter, a retired advertising agent, puts out three daily feeds in the garden at their home in Torquay, Devon. But he said the 16-year-old ginger tom is too frail to fight off the gull and has to sit and watch as it devours each meal. Peter said: “The gull swoops down every time we put Billy’s plate out. Billy simply steps aside and allows the bird to eat every scrap.
