He has found an incredible family that is excited to have him and is dedicated to his happiness and well-being! . Wilfie went to his new home yesterday and is currently working hard on settling in. While he turned his nose up at dinner last night, his appetite is back this morning and he’s already showing his tummy and purring up a storm.💗 . His family knows that all of you are invested in Wilford’s health and happiness and they are thinking through how to keep you all updated. For right now though, their primary focus is on getting Wilford settled in and adjusted to his new home and family. . Many of you may already know Wilford’s new family, as they were the proud and affectionate parents of Vito (aka Symba the Tubby Tabby), who weighed more than 30 lbs when they adopted him. Sadly, Vito passed away a little over a month ago, so Peter and Kiah had a super-sized cat-shaped hole in their hearts and home. While Wilford will never replace Vito, Peter and Kiah are uniquely qualified to care for Wilford and his special needs. I think he will be very happy with them.💗 . I still have dozens of photos of Wilford that I haven’t posted yet, so you can expect to see throwbacks for a while to come.🤗 .
