The “Wei Wei Jia Persimmon Farm” is open to visitors free of charge every year, and visitors can take pictures of persimmons, buy persimmons, and enjoy the scenery ofshelves of driedpersimmons.

新竹每到秋季即吹起九降風，強勢風力加上秋陽的照耀讓此地成為最適合種柿子的地方。

Thanks to the “September dry wind” (九降風)through Decemberand sunshine, Xinpu makes excellent driedpersimmons.

來到觀光農場可以觀賞柿子的製作程序，經過選果、去皮、曬餅，最後風乾7到9日，鋪在棚架上的柿子形成壯觀景象。

At the farm, you can watch the process of making persimmons. After selecting the fruit, peeling it, drying it in the sun, and then drying it for 7 to 9 days, farmers will place the persimmons on bamboo shelves,that are propped up above the ground.
